Synthesis of O- and N-Aminopropyltriterpenoids Based on Messagenin

Triterpenoids with O- and N-aminopropyl fragments in lupane C-3, C-20, and C-28 positions were synthesized via successive cyanoethylation and reduction of 20R-hydroxy- and 20E-hydroxyiminomessagenin derivatives.
