The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of psychological skill training on performance improvement of golfer. The subjects for this study were 130 golfers participated in a national golf tournament. 30 minutes of imagery training using video tape was used as a psychological skill training during 2 weeks. The data was analyzed by SPSS 12.0 Version. Statistical methods used in this study were frequency analysis, factor analysis, independent paired t-test, and analysis of covariance. Multiple Range Test(Scheffe) was used for post-hoc test at the significance level of .05. Based on the above research methods and procedures, the following results are discussed: 1) Psychological skill training programs were effective in reducing anxiety level of participants. 2) It was to find the relationship in psychological skill training by gender and school levels.
