The first blade chambers (16) of the precursor stage (7) and the second blade chambers 17 of the main stage (10) are integrated with the impeller (13). The impeller (13) can also form the rotor (22), making it possible to produce an extremely shallow side-channel pump (1). This pump is employed preferably for fuel delivery in gasoline injection to an internal combustion engine.
