Casting Process Design of Large Casting Steel

Taking a large cast casting steel as example,View Cast software was introduced to design the casting process.After the dimensions and numbers of risers were determined based on the solidification results and the number of hot spots,the optimal feeding system was obtained.Finally,the gating system was designed,and the filling process and solidification process were simulated.the results show that the casting process can smoothly fill and the feeding system can feed the casting effectively.
