APPLICATION OF ORTHOGONAL METHOD TO STUDY ON HARDENING OF RAIL END

In this paper the importance of heat treatment of heavy rail end is emphasized, the roles of orthogonal method for determining technical parameters of rail end treatment are introduced,the effects of air water two-phase coolant used in hardening of rail ends are evaluated,and the preparation of this coolant is described in detail.
