Fragmentos de Corpos Urbanos

"Fragments of Urban Bodies" are scenic-performative actions carried out in transit spaces, inserted in the flow of the cities in presentation (Dourados / MS and Pelotas / RS). Observing the similarities between inland cities that are poles in their regions, some questions arise: What constitutes the city (ies)? What thoughts and ideologies support our cities? Cia. Ultima Hora raised this discussion in five programs, like temporary radio frequencies, in search of a harmony: in the body of the city we inhabit, in the habit of our bodies. "Fragments of urban bodies" was born as a doctoral research by the artistic director Ariane Guerra (PPGAC-UFBA), which sought hybrid experiments between theater, performance and dance, in a cross between the city and the body. In order to reflect on the scenic-performative corporeality in view of the ideology and thoughts that sustain the cities in question, the director, who is also a performer of the action, mixes scientific and doxa research, processes and results.
