The utility model relates to a cross flow vortex solid-liquid separation device which is characterized in setting a cylinder-shaped revolve stream chamber. The cylinder revolver stream chamber includes a lumen chamber and an outer cavity chamber. The lumen chamber and the outer cavity chamber are equipped on the same axle and are separated by a cylinder-shaped retention net. A mud collecting chamber is arranged under the bottom of the lumen chamber. The admitting pipes are arranged along the cutting direction of the cylinder-shaped revolve stream chamber. The admitting pipes are arranged on the top of the lumen chamber and are connected with the lumen chamber. The entering water is in poured into the lumen chamber towards the cutting direction. The utility model is provided with overflow drain pipes which are connected with the outer cavity chamber. The mud discharging pipes are connected with the bottom of the mud collecting chamber. The utility model has the advantages of that the efficiency of the high efficiency, low cost, low energy consumption, small occupation of land, easy to operate and manage, can filtrate and deposit sands in pretreatment of water and waste water.
