Effect of Different Intercropping Pattern on Crude Protein and Fat Content of Maize

The complete randomized block design was used to study the effect of different intercropping pattern on yield,crude protein and fat content of maize.The results showed that there was significant difference in crude protein and fat content among different intercropping patterns.The yield,crude protein and fat content of maize reaches the maximum when the maize row spacing and peanut spacing was 40cm and 20cm,the belt spacing between maize and peanut was 30～50cm and the row ratio of maize to peanut was 2∶4.The quality of maize was of good stability when the row ratio of maize to peanut was 2∶4.The belt spacing between maize and peanut with 30～50cm had no significant effect on yield and quality of maize.
