Chairman Dillon called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. Officers and Council members present were: Chairman C. Brien Dillon, Vice Chairman Edwin S. Rockefeller, Section Delegate Ira M. Millstein, Budget Officer Gordon F. Hampton, Secretary John H. Morrison, Last Retiring Chairman John Izard, Assistant Attorney General Thomas E. Kauper, FTC Chairman Lewis A. Engman, Howard Adler, Jr., Walker B. Comegys, Allen C. Holmes, Harvey M. Applebaum, H. Francis DeLone, William J. Lowry, Taylor R. Briggs, Earl E. Pollock, Lee N. Abrams, Harry Kemker and William T. Lifland. Also present were Staff Liaison Shelley Walker, Law Student Division Representative Linnea Johnson and Clayton Act Committee Chairperson Eleanor M. Fox. Council member Richard J. MacLaury was not present.
