Ink-jet recording apparatus

Provided is an ink-jet recording apparatus, comprising a first conveying part arranged in a first conveying path, a supporting member configured to support a sheet, a recording part, a plurality of contact parts configured to be in contact with the sheet, a plurality of supporting ribs, a second conveying part arranged in a second conveying path connected with the first conveying path, and a third conveying part configured to clamp the sheet and convey the sheet along a first conveying direction or towards the second conveying path. At an upstream side of the second conveying part along a second conveying direction, a protruding part and an upper guide member are jointly formed to protrude towards a lower guide member to below an imaginary line which connects a clamping position, caused by the third conveying part, of the sheet and the other clamping position, caused by the second conveying part, of the sheet. With the ink-jet recording apparatus, the sheet can be made into a wavy shape so as to reduce the quality decrease of images recorded on the sheet and reduce the possibility of sheet blocking in a resupply conveying path.
