Классификация и характеристика устройств управляемых систем электропередачи переменного тока

Classification of devices for flexible alternating current transmission systems (FACTS) is given. The specifications of FACTS are considered: devices of reactive power compensation, connected to grid in parallel; devices for series compensation of line impedance; devices, combining the functions of the first two groups; devices for energy storage; AC/DC – DC/FC converters; new generation transmission lines of increased capacity in combination with FACTS devices.
