Research on Electrical Discharge Milling Energy-saving Two-path MOSFET Pulse Power Supply for Non-conductive Material

Based on analyzing the characteristics of pulse power supply in electrical discharge machining,the two-path MOSFET pulse power supply was designed.The pulse signal of voltage between 0~5 V was generated by computer.For improve the power efficiency,current limiting resistance was replaced by inductance,and one MOSFET was replaced by two-path MOSFET.The stored electrical energy in inductance was returned to the power supply when the MOSFET were turned off.The design aims of adjustable frequency,adjustable current and energy saving were reached.
