A differential heterodyne interferometer with plane-wave object illumination

A new scheme of a differential heterodyne interferometer with plane-wave illumination of an object is described and analyzed. The interferometer response in the Fourier and image planes is simulated. The sensitivity of the interferometer to variations in microobject parameters is investigated.
