L'integrazione con vanadio delle razioni per l'agnello leggero

2003
The Authors refer the results of a research about the use of vanadium as an integrator of milk feed lamb. Added to milk replacer at the dose of 5 and 10 p.p.m. from 30 d, vanadium has improved the weight gain (resp. 12,00% and 23,00%), the feed utilisation (resp. 9,00% and 20,00%), the dressing percentages (resp. 4,70% and 8,00% for the caprettina yield; 5,00% and 10,00% for the cold carcass yield), the meat digestibilty (resp. 5,00% and 7,00%of digestible protein after in vitro pepsinic digestion) and tenderness (resp. - 24,00% and - 41,00% of connective tissue after in vitro tripsinic digestion). Regardless to the dose vanadium has not shown positive or negative effects on the health status. About the vanadium content of the milk replacer, the Authors conclude that the requirement of lamb is met with 10 p.p.m.
