PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF THE FORMATION OF THE SOCIAL ACTIVITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL

The topicality of the issue under consideration is accounted for by the socio-economic and socio-political development that is now taking place in Ukraine. Moreover, Ukraine is determined to build a democratic, legal state and civil society, which necessitates the identification of the active transformative social activities that contribute to the development of independent thinking, responsibility for one’s actions, willingness to participate in the decision making process of the current issues of Ukrainian society. The author, enlightening the importance of the problem, says that social activity is the major quality of a person that provides it with self-expression and self-realization in social groups, society as a whole, thanks to the quality of formation of the personality, and is able to influence the social relationships, successfully implementing its vital position in various types of social activity. Expanding the topic, the author examines the scientific and theoretical approaches to the study of social activity of the individual, analyzes the theoretical and methodological basis for the formation of social activity of the individual, developing the psycho- pedagogical conditions of development of the social activity of the person. The author explains that the formation of this characteristic feature is the most effective in late adolescence and occurs in social activities in which students participate during the educational process. It provides assimilation and reproduction of the social experience by older adolescents, and their harmonious integration into social life.
