Influence of Non-point Pollution Load on Land-use Changes in Xinfengjiang River Basin

2011
This paper takes Xinfengjiang river basin as a case study to analyze the influence of non-point pollution load on land-use changes.Historical land-use scenarios in 1980 and 2000 years are applied to track the changes of land-use by interpreting TM image. The changes of runoff volume, total nitrogen and phosphor loads are simulated under land-use changes by using SWAT model. The results show that there is significant increase in occupying farm land and urban area between 1980 and 2000 years. The land-use urban area increases 13.5 times during 20 years, while the occupied farm land gives the largest influence on pollution loads. The data during 20 years show that the loads of total nitrogen and phosphor increase about percent 9.3 and percent 5,respectively.
