Kinetics of epoxy cure: 2. The system bisphenol-A diglycidyl ether/polyamide

1972
Abstract Differential scanning calorimetry, infra-red absorption and d.c. conductivity were used to study the cure of the system bisphenol-A diglycidyl ether/polyamide in the range 23–110°C. At elevated temperatures, two reactions were found to occur subsequent to the cure reaction. In addition, glass transition data indicate that, where network mobility permits, large-scale reorganization of the network occurs subsequent to cure to give an ‘equilibrium’ glass.
