2,7,9-Trimethyl-8-oxatetra­cyclo[5.4.1.13,10.05,9]tridecan-endo-2-ol

The racemic title compound, C15H24O2, crystallizes as a simple structure comprising a series of hydrogen-bonded chains ⋯Oether⋯O—H⋯Oether⋯O—H⋯ running along the a-axis direction. These parallel chains pack with only dispersion forces operating between them. This is the first X-ray structure determination of a member of this tetra­cyclic ring system.
