A Woman with Headache, Subjective Fever, and Anemia A 35-year-old woman presented with headache, subjective fever, and anemia. She had a hematocrit of 18.1% and a reticulocyte count of less than 0.5%. Ten days before admission, her 3-year-old son had had a febrile illness. Diagnostic tests were performed.
