Dark Energy due to Late Time Quantum Decay Process

We show that the dark energy field can be dynamically obtained at a low scale, e.g. at E = O(eV), via a quantum transitions process. This is achieved if the φ field is coupled with a relativistic scalar field which we call φ. The 2↔2 coupling has a transition rate Γ∝g2Tφ and the fields are coupled at low energies when Γ/H ≡ Tgen/Tφ∝g2/Tφ is larger than one, i.e. at T
