Research progress on pharmacological activities of active natural aldehyde compounds

There are various kinds of natural aldehyde compounds including terpenoids,phenylpropanoid,saponins,alkaloids and so on.Recently,many kinds of natural aldehyde compounds of with structures were reported to have obvious pharmacological activities such as anti-tumor,anti-inflammation,anti-fungal and activities on nervous system.This paper summarized the structures and pharmacological activities of natural aldehyde compounds in order to provide reference for the development and utilization of natural aldehyde compounds in the future.
