The family of human Na+K+‐ATPase genes
1987
Several clones related to the a-subunit of the Na+, K+-ATPase gene have been isolated from the human genomic library. Their restriction endonuclease maps and direct sequencing evidence the existence of at least three different sequences related to the a-subunit of Na+, K+-ATPase. The nucleotide sequence of exons and exon-intron organisation of one of these genes are determined. The exon parts of the second gene are identical to the cDNA sequence of the a-subunit of Na+, K +-ATPase from HeLa cells [1].
