Fully-integrated low dropout linear regulator based on ripple preamplification

2017
The invention discloses a fully-integrated low dropout linear regulator based on ripple preamplification and belongs to the technical field of power supply management. The positive input end of a transconductance amplifier is connected with a reference voltage Vref, the negative input end of the transconductance amplifier is connected with a feedback voltage Vfb, and the output end of the transconductance amplifier is connected with the negative input end of a trans-impedance amplifier and the negative input end of an error amplifier. The positive input end of the trans-impedance amplifier is connected to the ground GND, and the output end of the trans-impedance amplifier is connected with the positive input end of the error amplifier; a grid of a power tube MP is connected with the output end of the error amplifier, the source electrode of the power tube MP is connected with an input voltage VIN, the drain electrode of the power tube MP is connected to the ground GND through a series structure of a first divider resistance Rf1 and a second divider resistance Rf2, the series point of the first divider resistance Rf1 and the second divider resistance Rf2 outputs the feedback voltage Vfb, and a miler capacitance CL is connected between the drain electrode of the power tube MP and the ground GND; the compensating circuit is connected between the drain electrode of the power tube MP and the series point of the first divider resistance Rf1 and the second divider resistance Rf2. According to the fully-integrated low dropout linear regulator based on the ripple preamplification, the fast transient response is achieved, and the miler capacitance is reduced at the same time.
