Analysis of the influence factors of type 2 diabetes mellitus with hypothyroidism

Objective: To explore the influence factors of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with hypothyroidism. Methods: A total of 784 cases of patients with 2 type diabetes who treated in our hospital from January 2013 to June 2015 were selected. These patients were divided into two groups: hypothyroidism group including 71 cases with T2DM hypothyroidism, T2DM group including 713 cases with normal thyroid function. Clinical data of two groups were compared and its influencing factors were analyzed by single factor and logistic regression analysis. Results: Incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hypothyroidism rate was 9.06%, of which there were 16 cases of clinical hypothyroidism (2.04%), and 55 cases of subclinical hypothyroidism (7.02%).
