Method and system for implementing short message sending or mass texting in mobile communication network

The invention relates to a method for implementing multimedia short message sending or mass texting in a mobile communication network. A multimedia application server connected with a GGSN (Gateway Gprs Support Node) by a Gi interface is added to the side of the GGSN; the multimedia application server is switched into an SMC (Short Message Center) by a message smart platform (MSP) of the SMC and is used for storing and transmitting a multimedia short message sent by a calling subscriber and being abutted with a home location register (HLR) by an MAP (Manufacturing Automation Protocol) protocol C/D interface so as to acquire user resources from the HLR.
