Pleomorphic adenoma presenting low T2 signal-intensity on magnetic resonance imaging

We report an unusual case of pleomorphic adenoma of the submandibular gland in a 48-year-old female. The present case appeared as a relatively homogeneous, low to intermediate signal-intensity on the T2 weighted magnetic resonance (MR) images. To our knowledge, the MR feature of low T2 signal-intensity of pleomorphic adenoma has not been reported in the literature.
