The Flexual Behaviour of Ecological Ultra-high Performance Concrete

Ultra-high performance concrete(UHPC) was prepared by substitution of ultra-fine industrial waste for large quantity of cement.The flexual behaviour of UHPC was researched and the flexual load-displacement curves were recorded.The influence of steel fiber,synthetic fiber and hybrid fibers on the flexual behaviour of UHPC were discussed.Results showed that the flexual strength and the flexual toughness index of UHPC become more than 2 times and 10 times respectively of those of the matrix concrete by the reinforcement of fibers.The change of the fracture pattern of UHPC from brittleness to toughness was also brought by fiber reinforcement.
