The interaction of a variable-sign acoustic deformation ā us =1×10 −5 −2×10 −4 at 160 kHz with the germanium-gallium arsenide heterosystem was studied. Transmission electron microscopy and x-ray topography were used to identify the microscopic mechanism of internal mechanical stress relaxation induced acoustically in the heterosystem
