The light source apparatus comprising: first and second semiconductor light emitting element; first and second light quantity detecting section, which have mutually the same detection range, a light emission amount of the first and second semiconductor light emitting element are detected; a light amount limiting means, having a first light quantity limiting section and at least side of the second light quantity limiting section, such as a maximum light amount of the first and second semiconductor light emitting element of the first actuator and the predetermined value within the second light amount and the detection range, wherein the first light quantity limiting section limits incident from the first semiconductor light emitting element to the light quantity of the first light and a second light quantity detecting section, the second light quantity limiting section limits of the second light amount detecting unit is incident from the second semiconductor light emitting element to the a second light amount of the light; and a control unit which controls the light emitting amount of the first semiconductor light emitting element and the second semiconductor light emitting element according to the detection results of the first and second light-amount detecting unit.
