UbiRing my bell

"UbiRing My Bell" presents the concepts of UbiRing and UbiBracelet, wearable devices that enable triggering of mnemonics on smartphones such as making phone calls, sending SMS or tweeting. This video demonstrates how UbiRing and UbiBracelet can be used to create mnemonics freely on any static object and triggered by free-air pointing. Interaction provided by these devices is rapid, subtle and socially acceptable. Also, usage scenarios including assistive technology, location and context sensitivity, tangible interaction and activity sensing are visualized. Additionally, UbiRing could be used also by young children to make phone calls to parents or during play with toys.
