A method of reducing the heterogeneity of antibodies obtained from cell culture reducing the proportion of lysine residue at the C terminus of the antibodies, said method comprising adding a transition metal ion divalent to the culture medium of antibody production or alter the osmolality the culture medium or a combination thereof to obtain said antibodies with reduced heterogeneity.
