NİTRO GRUBU İÇEREN ONNO TİPİNDEKİ SİMETRİK SCHIFF BAZLARININ TERMAL BOZUNMALARININ İNCELENMESİ

Ozet: Simetrik alifatik daiminler ile nitrolanmis salisilaldehitler kullanilarak simetrik yapili dialdiminler hazirlandi. Bu aldiminler element analizi ve IR spektroskopisi ile karakterize edildi. Elde edilen bilesikler termogravimetri ile incelendi. Yuksek nitro grubu sayisindan dolayi bilesiklerin patlayici maddeler gibi davrandigi ve salisilaldimin birimlerini baglayan alkil grubunun buyuklugu ile ekzotermal parcalanmanin siddetinin iliskili oldugu goruldu. Hazirlanan tum aldiminler erime noktasina ulasmadan ekzotermik bir tepkime ile parcalandigi gozlendi. Hidrazin ve 1,2 diamino etandan meydana gelen Schiff bazlarinin oksijen dengesi kuralina gore patlayici maddelere benzer sekilde parcalandigi sonucuna termogravimetri verileri kullanilarak varildi. Anahtar kelimeler: Termal analiz, ONNO tipi Schiff bazi, nitro grubu INVESTIGATION OF THE THERMAL DECOMPOSITION OF ONNO TYPE SYMMETRIC SCHIFF BASE CONTAINING NITRO GROUP Abstract: Symmetric dialdimines were prepared from symmetric aliphatic diamines and nitro containing salicylaldehydes. These aldimines were characterized using element analysis and IR spectroscopy. The compounds were also analysed thermogravimetrically. Due to high numbers of nitro groups the compounds behaved like explosive materials. The size of alkyl groups bonding the salicylaldimine units is in reation with the the intensity of the exothermal degradation. All the aldimine compounds were observed to exothermally degrade before reaching their melting point. It was concluded using thermogravimetry that Schiff base compounds prepared from hydrazine and 1,2-diamino ethane degraded according to the oxygen equilibrium rule.
