Research Advances on Rare and Endangered Plants Cistaceae

Common rock-rose Helianthemum soongoricum Schrenk and H.ordosicum Y.Z.Zhao,Z.Y.Zhu et R.Cao are usually bushes sparsely annual or perennial herbal relic plants.There are about 200 species in 8 genera that distributes along Mediterranean.Among them,2 species distribute in Inner-Mongolia and Xinjiang Uigur autonomous region in China.Common rock-rose was listed a important protected plant by Chinese government due to that natural disaster,human activities and over-development have caused biomass reduce,population decrease and community downfall.It is a great importance to study and protect the rare and endangered plants common rock-rose Helianthemum soongoricum Schrenk and H.ordosicumY.Z.Zhao,Z.Y.Zhu et R.Cao in China.
