Effect of instant green channel in emergency department

2017
Objective To investigate the effect of instant green channel in emergency work and influence on prognosis and survival quality of patient. Methods Seventy-seven emergency patients (observation group) admitted in hospital through the instant green channel were compared with another 77 emergency patients (control group) admitted when instant green channel was not open. Patients in control group were rescued through conventional procedure, while patients in observation group were rescued through instant green channel emergency treatment process. Rescue efficiency (preliminary treatment time, emergency treatment retention time, auxiliary examination results time, time of confirmed diagnosis, definitive treatment execution time), prognosis, quality of life and emergency treatment satisfaction of two groups were compared. Results Preliminary treatment time, emergency treatment retention time, auxiliary examination results time and definitive treatment execution time of observation group all were shorter than those in control group, the quality of life score in observation group was higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05); in observation group, the excellent rate of prognosis (93.51%) and emergency work satisfaction (94.81%) were higher than those in control group (80.52%, 83.12%), the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Instant green channel can effectively improve the work efficiency, shorten rescue time, so as to improve the prognosis and quality of life of patients, and get high satisfaction of patients and their families.
