Multimodel Approach of Modal Split in Urban Passenger Transportation Planning

1994
Abstract In this paper, a catastrophe model is employed to predict the number of private automo-biles for passenger transportation in a city. The mode—distance model, the improved Markov Process analysis model, and the Traffic Behavior model are established for modal split in the urban passenger transportation system. Then, the reasonable construction of this system is obtained.
