Analysis of tracer study and hot water injection effect on oil recovery from fractured reservoir

2020
This article presents an analysis of the results of hot water injection into the injection wells of the Permian-Carboniferous deposit of the Usinsk high-viscosity oilfield, together with trace-indicator studies. These works are carried out in preparation for the joint injection of hot water and the multifunctional chemical composition MFC MIKA based on surfactants to increase oil recovery. At present, 4 injection wells with a total injection rate of 1,500 tons/day have been put into operation. Tracer studies were conducted on three injection wells. Tracking the dynamics of the pilot area is carried out on 60 producing wells. An analysis of the results of tracer studies shows a non-linear dependence of the increase in oil production on the indicator output in producing wells. It is concluded that there are specific features in hot water injection into a fractured reservoir, which provides the prerequisites for the successful use of an oil-displacing composition.
