Study on Urban Forest Recreationists' Satisfaction Based on Perceived Value: A Case in Purple Mountain National Forest Park, Nanjing

Utilizing the method of exploratory factor analysis and structural equation modeling, this paper built an model of urban forest recreationists' satisfaction and conducted an empirical research. The results are shown as follows: 1) "Landscape resource perception", "facilities and services perception", "functional effect perception", "social effect perception" and "emotional effect perception" are important factors influencing the recreationists' perceived value; 2) The perceived value has significant and positive influence to form the satisfactory experience of recreationists; 3) "Emotional effect perception" and "landscape resource perception" are the key factors in influencing recreationists' satisfaction. "Functional effect perception" and "social effect perception" have positive effects on recreationists' perceived value, while "facilities and services perception" is believed as an affordable factor; 4) "Means-end" theory and "cognitive-affective" theory have certain applicability in the research of urban forest recreationists' satisfaction.
