Polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) drill

2011
The utility model provides a polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) drill. A knife wing and a drill body are integrated, auxiliary teeth are sintered on the knife wing, and cutting teeth are welded in a reserved tooth groove arranged on the knife wing. A cylinder is arranged at the bottom of the auxiliary teeth, and a cone is arranged at the top of the auxiliary teeth. The PDC drill has the advantages of being capable of not only limiting biting depth of main cutting teeth in a soft formation but also not impeding cutting of the main cutting teeth in a hard formation, sufficiently protecting the main cutting teeth, and having high strength.
