Conclusions and Lasting Thoughts

In this final chapter, I begin by summarizing the key themes and concepts presented in previous chapters. Next, I offer to the reader what I believe to be some of the practical directives for scholars investigating Indigenous worldviews. I then outline what adopting a responsibility-based (as opposed to rights-based) approach to Indigenous research could mean for Indigenous geographies scholars. Finally, I share some personal thoughts and perspectives on some possible future research avenues and directions that I believe merit further investigation in Indigenous geographies and IK research.
