Utilidad de la espectroscopía por RM en la encefalopatía hepática

2003
The adequate knowledge of the diagnostic tools now available such as SPECT studies with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), useful for the diagnosis of patients with sensory disorders in which other imaging studies of the brain are unable to give positive data, are important to evaluate the metabolic condition of tissues suspected to have an underlying pathology. The authors present a patient with neurological disorders with subacute evolution, submitted to MRI of the brain and SPECT with RMI. The purpose of this report was to describe the findings observed with these procedures and the usefulness of them for the definitive diagnosis.
