Using transmission and scanning electron microscopy we study the effect of thermomechanical treatment conditions on the phase and structure state and mechanical properties of V-4Ti-4Cr alloy under active tension at different temperatures. The thermomechanical treatment conditions, which provide high dispersion and homogeneity of heterophase structure of the alloy, an increase of thermal stability of its defect substructure and a significant increase of short-time strength (including high-temperature one) at high plasticity, are found.
