A 260 MW light source with 7 \mu m wavelength as a path to strong field science in the far infrared

We demonstrate a far infrared source (7 \mu m) with pulse duration of < 120 fs and pulse energies of 31 mJ. Additionally, we show a clear path to achieving GW level peak power.
