Low Flux Line Profiles on the IUE Spectra of II Peg

The He II λ1640 A emission feature on the IUE spectra of II Peg has been compared with the observed x-ray flux. The atmospheric activity level is determined by comparing the several diagnostic line intensities with the Solar case. Gaussian convolution is applied to the high dispersion IUE spectra and several low flux emission profiles were reported to be exist, including the temperature diagnostic line Mg I λ2852 A.
