The invention provides a method for extracting four different effective components in Radix Scutellariae with subcritical water, wherein the method comprises the following steps: (1) crushing the Radix Scutellariae into particles for use; (2) taking the Radix Scutellariae particles and water to place into an extraction kettle, after sealing the extraction kettle, placing the extraction kettle into a temperature heating controlling instrument, cooling materials in the extraction kettle to a room temperature for 3 -5 minutes, separating liquid from the slag to obtain a scutellarin and wogonin containing liquid; (3) adding water into the filter slag in the step (2), sealing the extraction kettle, heating the materials in the extraction kettle, after keeping the temperature for 28 -32 minutes, cooling the extraction kettle to the room temperature, separating liquid from slag to remove the slag to obtain a baicalin and wogonoside containing liquid; and (4) vaporizing water from the scutellarin and wogonin containing liquid obtained in the step (2) and the baicalin and wogonoside containing liquid obtained in the step (3) respectively to obtain the powder of four Radix Scutellariae effective components of scutellarin, wogonin, baicalin and wogonoside respectively. The method provided by the invention enables the purity of the extract to be high and provides four effective components of the required Radix Scutellariae for pharmacy.
