This paper aims to investigate and identify the profile characteristics that an individual needs to practice teaching in the hosting area of Technology in Hospitality Course. The theme was chosen by the finding that is rarely addressed and with insufficient information to those interested in the subject. Moreover, it is a theme that appeals to the author, which seeks to contribute to all stakeholders, students and teachers of the area. A list of documents was exploited so that there was the construction of reference and that the main question was answered. it is identified that, to become a teacher expert in the given area, the individual must meet the characteristics required by law, the institution where you want to exercise the profession and possessing profile hosting area, such as having skills with standard operating procedures for storage UH, have proper posture for good receive and possess skills related to leadership teams, good training in related fields, teaching experience and other functions, especially in active work carried out in hotels, as well as other backgrounds and experiences acquired throughout life.
