Enhanced Electromagnetic Wave Absorption of layered FeCo@Carbon Nanocomposites with a low filler loading

2021
ABSTRACT Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) derived carbon-based magnetic metal materials had attracted much attention in the field of electromagnetic wave absorbers. In this work, a layered FeCo@C nanocomposites was successfully synthesized by annealing FeCo-MOFs. The pyrolytic temperatures had influenced the graphitization degree of the carbon frameworks and the magnetic properties of the FeCo nanoparticles. Owing to the outstanding attenuation capacity, impedance matching and unique layered structure, FeCo@C nanocomposites displayed an excellent electromagnetic wave absorption performance with the strongest reflection loss (RL) value could reach to -53.6 dB at 12.8 GHz and the effective bandwidth (RL
