The utility model discloses an axial loading mechanism for a nut of a ball screw pair, particularly is a bidirectional loading mechanism. The loading mechanism is mainly composed of a driving assembly, a loading assembly, a limiting assembly, a measuring assembly and a data processing module. The loading mechanism is characterized in that a driving motor drives a sawtooth ball screw pair nut to rotate through a transmission shaft and a gear transmission; and the nut moves horizontally along the screw in case of no external force; but when the horizontal movement of the sawtooth ball screw pair nut is blocked, the rotation movement of the nut is changed into linear movement of the screw shaft, and thus a loading force is generated; further, a sensor is connected with a loading end of the screw shaft and is used for measuring the magnitude of the loading force. The axial loading mechanism can generate a loading force maximally reaching 10t, has a relatively small axial dimension, is compact in internal structure, high in accuracy, low in cost, convenient to install and easy to process, and is safe and reliable.
