Nitrile complexes of rhodium(III)

Abstract The preparation and characterisation of trans -[RhX 2 (RCN) 4 ] + (X = Cl or Br; R = Me, Et, n -Pr, Ph, PhCH 2 ) and [RhCl 3 (RCN) 2 ] 12 (R = Me, i -Pr, PhCH 2 ) are reported and [RhCl 3 (RCN) 3 ] (R = Et, n -Pr, i -Pr, PhCH 2 ) has been shown to have the 1,2,4-configuration.
