Dynamics and emission of femtosecond laser-induced plasma inclusion in water droplets

2003 
Femtosecond laser pulses can cause water droplets to emit a backward white light continuum attributed to microscopic plasma inclusions. Pump experiments have been undertaken to enlighten the laser induced plasma formation via forward elastic scattering.
