Advances in the synthesis and applications of raspberry ketone: A review

The recent advances in the synthesis and applications of raspberry ketone are reviewed in this paper. Different methods, including chemical synthesis, biotechnological methods, and extraction, are compared, and the applications of raspberry ketone in flavour and fragrance, medicinal chemistry and tobacco manufacture are also discussed. Finally, the research perspective of raspberry ketone are also prospected.
